Why you should build a “Coming Soon” page

When you start your website journey an important step to talk to your designer about is setting up a “Coming Soon” landing page.

This page will act as a data collection source all while also creating hype and interest for your customers.

FIVE ITEMS YOUR COMING SOON PAGE SHOULD INCLUDE:

1. A Form. Ask people to add their emails to get notified when you go live. Start building your email marketing list and create a connection with new customers when you are ready to go live.

2. Mission Statement. What is your website about and how can you help people. Why should someone care about what you are about to launch? Tell them.

3. Contact Information. Make sure to add in your email, location and business phone number if you want people to be able to contact you straight away.

4. Social Links. Showcase what you are up to today. Set up your social links so people can connect with you on a different more social platform. You can always start a conversation with them here while your website is under construction.

5. Aesthetic. Kick off the vibe to your website and provide your guests with a sneak peek of what the project will look like once they get access. Here you can use all of your brand assets to make sure it’s cohesive with what’s going on the inside.
